Coaching Education
SOCAL soccer league partners with US Club Soccer to offer a comprehensive range of coaching education courses tailored to the diverse needs of our membership. By hosting U.S. Soccer courses—including Grassroots, ‘D,’ ‘C,’ and ‘B’ licenses—we bring quality coaching education directly to local communities.
These courses are part of the U.S. Soccer Coaching License Pathway, which supports coaches at every stage of their journey, from beginners to advanced levels. Each course builds on the previous one, with grassroots models (4v4, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11) leading to the ‘D’ License, and more advanced licenses like the ‘C’ and ‘B’ focusing on coaching in the U13-U17 and senior performance environments, respectively.
Our goal is to equip coaches with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed at every level, ensuring they have access to education that is relevant to their experience and the needs of their players.
The mission of US Club Soccer's coach education efforts is to provide its members with accessible, affordable and relevant educational opportunities and resources through inclusive programming that supports the holistic development of our players, coaches and clubs.
